Erdogan: If the agreement is missed, the offensive will be even harder

(Updated at 14.58) - «At the end of the 120 hours» of truce, Tuesday evening, «our Operation Source of peace will continue even more determinedly if the US does not keep its promises» on the evacuation of Kurdish Ypg militias from the area of security of Turkey. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Speaking of the alleged attacks by the Turks despite the ceasefire, Erdogan spoke of "disinformation": "At this moment, the 120-hour truce is underway and reports of clashes in the area are disinformation".

It was later learned that UN chemical experts are gathering information after news of the alleged use of white phosphorus by Turkish forces in the offensive in Syria against the Kurds. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has also made it known that it is "aware of the situation" and that it is "gathering information regarding the possible use of chemical weapons".
