A region with a multifaceted offer, where you can discover the highest wine route in the world, the Camino Inca or, why not, the Cloud Train »: Nadia Loza, executive director of Inprotur Salta, emphasizes some of the trumps in the northernmost province of Argentina, ranging from cultural to active tourism, go from gourmet. Currently Salta welcomes "about 20% of foreign tourists out of the total, and of this share about 8% are Italians. For fifteen years now we have been working with the Italian market and therefore with operators specialized in programming Argentina's destination, but we want to attract a greater number of Italian visitors: the average cost of the latter is generally above average. These are often couples and individual travelers for whom in many cases even the food and wine offer represents a great attraction ".

And also the Archaeological Museum of high mountains (Maam) which is the most visited in the country ». There are several attractions for a destination that "is very well connected to the other cities of Argentina from Buenos Aires to Mendoza to the Iguacu falls".
